1.负责供应商准入和供应商合同的审核管理，对供应商资源进行整合，优化；

8.负责异常物料调查，向供应商提出仲诉、索赔或追究法律责任；

GENERAL PURPOSETo assure continuous supplier improvement in product as well as processes and provide technical manufacturing support to all levels of stakeholders ranging from, the Asia Pacific team, product development, functional peers as well as supplier partners.DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILTIESSupplier Quality AssuranceSupplier Development Engineers serve as focal point for ALL items relative to Quality Assurance within Legrand AV supply base. The duties and accountabilities are as follows:Develop and maintain risk-based product and process audit plans and instruct inspection/audit personnel on this functionPerform supplier qualification/assessment audits and provide input into new supplier qualification activitiesServe as primary liaison for all non-conforming product dispositions and corrective action initiation/closureActively participate in the supplier management process with Sourcing, continuously evaluating performance metrics identifying opportunities for continual improvement in Quality, Cost and DeliveryReview all process and product specifications (including engineering changes) to ensure they are complete, clear and effectiveAssist with the creation, development, and implementation of company processes and proceduresProduction Part Approval ProcessThe Supplier Development Engineers serve as the PRIMARY responsible party for ensuring part/process capability and compliance within the Legrand AV team.
